I have a really hard time not running out of the inlet and looking for something to pull some drag when the conditions look so good.  Headed out of OI  at 0930 with a really light west wind and lake Atlantic conditions. Matt, Graham, and myself where hoping to cross paths with a couple of the cobia that have been cruising around off the beach.  We started off casting at 4 pups as soon as I brought it off plane just to break the ice. . . . No takers…..  We drive around seeing a few here a few there and we just couldn’t manage to hook up! It was killing me.  Finally came tight on one that had to go back in the drink.  I probably could have let him swim in my livewell for an hour and he would have been long enough.  1 for 9 for the day.  Charter in the AM stay tuned for report!
