My Pops came down for some breakfast and to visit with my girls. We chowed down on some Henry’s and hung with the little ones for a while. I threw out the idea of looking around for some reds before he headed back to Va. Well, we found em!
My Pops came down this morning to hop on the maiden voyage of my new boat. It was mainly a boat ride, but of course we had to go look for some fish. We slipped into a little spot and picked up 3 beautiful over slot reds. Good time. It’s time to go fishin’
I’ve had multiple requests from 1 or 2 anglers that are interested in Cobia fishing this spring, and are also interested in splitting the trip with other anglers. This is a great opportunity to get out there, save some money, and meet some new people. So I am starting with 2 Saturdays at the end of May to put trips together. These are 8+ hour trips / 4 anglers / $700. The cost is $175 per person, and a $100 deposit is required to lock in your spot. If conditions do not allow us to get out and look for cobia – your deposit will be refunded. Thanks – Details below. YOU CAN DO YOUR OWN CASTING ON FISH! It is not all about how many dead fish we have on the dock at the end of the trip – it’s about you having an enjoyable experience. If you want to cast on fish – you are more then welcome to. The weather has been so nice lately! Loving it!!!! The saltwater species should be showing up real soon as the water temps continue to climb. I imagine there is a drum to be caught for those looking to do a recon mission. In the mean time I get my fix in the sweetwater. Here is a nice crappie I caught yesterday while I was bass fishing.
