Plenty of action on the small stripers today. We got covered up everywhere we went. We did manage a couple keeper trout and a keeper flounder. Also put a nice size bluefish in the box. Wasn’t as big as the 10+ pounder that tried to eat a trout we were reeling in. That was exciting. Fun day on the boat. Big thanks to both of my trips today – very enjoyable groups.
Found a couple this morning in some challenging conditions in the surf. The bite should really improve with the warm weather ahead!
The specks have made a showing, and its time to get after em! Some nice fish being caught. Puppy drum and small stripers mixed in. It’s time to get your spring fishing fix!
Had some Indiananians on the boat today. I’m freezing my butt off and they show up in shorts. We fished hard in some rather windy conditions but we caught a handful of stripers. I wish every kid I had on the boat was as cool as Ty! The kid could cast too!
Scouted today and found plenty of puppy drum and stripers. A few were close to keepers. Charters getting ready to start cranking, let’s get after em!
