Wow, what an awesome month we have had ! The inshore fishing has been nothing short of “speck”tacular! Sure, there was a few slow trips here and there – but overall we have been crushing the trout and overslot reds! Thank you everyone who has fished with me this season. We have alot of openings for the fall fishing, and it is looking like its going to be a banner year! Lets get out there and catch em up!
Plenty of action in the sound. Light tackle jigging for specks , flounder, stripers, blues, and more. Plenty of meat going home with my crews lately. A few openings left in August, give me a holler ! September is wide open and usually offers up some great action in the sounds and ocean. Let’s go!!!!
Slow start to the day we picked at some trout here and there. Got a couple bluefish bites too. Afternoon was like a whole new day, we straight up put a hurtin’ on em! Non stop action….. Same spots!!!!
There’s some schools of drum around if you’re willing to drive around a little and look for them! Worth the time spent looking when you come up on a school of hundreds of hungry monster reds!
Wow we had some incredible trout action today. Limits in the morning and afternoon. We did catch a couple flounder today too. This is some great fishing with tons of action.
