“Off-season”

Alot of times people ask me what this place looks like in the off season.  Most of the people that fish with me only see this place as a mad house during the summer.  Well I grabbed my drone and flew over the sound to capture some shots of the sound that is FROZEN OVER!  Here you go. . . . Outer Banks in the winter.

2015 Bookings

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have started to book days for 2015 already.  Don’t worry – the calender is basically still WIDE OPEN, but bookings are slowing filling in so if you have a specific date you want – don’t wait! Give me a shout and lets get you on the calender.

Rockfishin’

My buddy Chory and I headed out yesterday evening to try the pilings for some rockfish.   We left the boat ramp at about 4:00pm and fished a little over an hour.  We managed about 10 rock with 5 keepers.  Give me a shout if you are interested in doing some striper fishing.  We can cast the pilings or sit back and troll.  I only have another week or so before I move up the the Elizabeth River.

Updates!

The lack of updates is due to the lack of fishing!  The season has all but dried up for me here on the Outer Banks.   The fishing is still going strong, but the business has slowed.  I have some boat work I need to do before I move it up to the Elizabeth River for the winter.  Can’t wait to get to work on some of those big ol winter specks!  Give me a shout to book your winter time speckled trout trip.  Here are some of the big drum we landed from the kayaks the other day.   Stoked my Dad made it down from Virginia to get in on the action.
