Rockin’ and Rollin

Rockfish season is open and we have been targeting and catching them pretty good! Hard to keep the trout away though, ha!   Great light tackle action continues.  The ocean has been pretty rough lately, but when that lays down we will be heading out there in search of big reds, and albies too.  Thanks for checking!

Snappin

I don’t think the fish ate for a few days because they’ve been snapping!! Excellent trout and drum fishing after the storm. Come get some!!

Post-Dorian report

The boat is back in the water and the fishing is good.   We got lucky up here with only minor damages on the northern beaches.   Some power outages and downed trees, but nothing like Hatteras and Ocracoke.   Thank you for the texts and emails, greatly appreciated!   The fall fishing is shaping up to be all time!  Give me a shout for some fun light tackle inshore fishing.  Thanks for checking in!

Best in years

Come get in on this insane trout action! We are catching consistent limits morning and afternoon all using artificial. Some nice blues mixing in too.  Some fun fishing! Some reds around too. Fall fishing should be red hot for another couple months. Let’s go!!!IMG_20190902_105744_521

Trout and Reds galore!

Wow, what an awesome month we have had !  The inshore fishing has been nothing short of “speck”tacular!   Sure, there was a few slow trips here and there – but overall we have been crushing the trout and overslot reds!  Thank you everyone who has fished with me this season.  We have alot of openings for the fall fishing, and it is looking like its going to be a banner year!   Lets get out there and catch em up!
