Night time

Last couple charters have been pretty tough fishing.   Still catching the dinks all you want , but the keeper fish have been hiding.   Lots of guys catching them at night time.   We need the weather to deteriorate or start running my trips at night!

Fun Fishin’

Fished the last couple days with my buddy Chory.  Yesterday, we went and picked up some stripers at the local bridges…. They’re still here!  Today, we went on an a little experimental recon mission.  We went looking for seabass offshore – something I’ve never done.   SUCCESS!

Rockin’ out

I don’t know what else to say.  The striper bite continues – fat, healthy, delicious stripers.  Call me, lets go!   We caught about 15 keepers this afternoon during our 3 hour trip.   The cold wind got the best of my crew, but we got it done!

and the beat goes on!

Another great striper trip this morning.  Hit little schools up and down the bridge and picked em off all morning long.  Ended with a 9 fish limit and released more keepers.  Fun time – thanks guys!!

Dinks!

Had to choose this morning to go to one bridge and grind really hard for maybe a handful of keepers, or grind a little while for a keeper – but fall back on the dinks.   We have a HUGE class of 8-12″ stripers.  They are absolutely everywhere around the Manns Harbor bridges.  I had a youngin’ on the boat today so it was a no brainer.  Tested our patience trying to scrap out a keeper from the bridges, but quickly made our way to the birds and the action.  The guys caught countless amounts of small stripers and had a great time.   Action is action!  I expect that once everyone and their brother goes back to work, the wind kicks up a little, and we get past this full moon – that we will have some more good striper action before they head out of here.  Thanks for checking!
