Action inside – scrappy outside

Had a nice inshore trip yesterday.  We had plenty of bites – trout, flounder, drum, and stripers.  Put together a nice little fish fry.   The cobia fishing in the ocean has really slowed down.  You can look all day for a couple fish, but I’m not the guide for that!  Should have some big drum showing up soon, as well as mahi and amberjack.  Trout, flounder, and reds should stay decent all summer.    Give me a shout to book your fishing adventure! Thanks for checking Salt Minded.com

Excellent inshore !

This mornings trip was pretty darn good.  We caught 8 nice keeper trout,  plenty of throwbacks trout,  a few flounder and some strpiers early.  Headed over to some flats and found tons of puppy drum in clear shallow water. Sight fished them for a while!  Had some wierd battery stuff going on that in heading down to the boat to resolve.  Always something!

Wed no pix report

Rainy and windy but we fished in shore and caught trout,  flounder,  and stripers.   Took home 7 nice keepers and a flounder.  Thanks guys!

Tough fishing today

Tough fishing today for us.  My crew fished hard inshore this morning. We hit a bunch of spots and ended up with 2 keeper trout,  2 throwback trout,  and a few small stripers.  Afternoon wanted to look for cobia. Really tough conditions with the wind,  clouds, and cold water.  Found a small school of drum and pulled the hook on one.   Tomorrow is a new day!  Yesterday’s inshore morning trip wasnt bad , we took home 7 trout and a flounder.
