Doormat!
Picked up a 24″ 6lb flounder today along with a couple puppy drum and a bunch of trout. Fun day with Luke and Allen. Thanks guys!

Spot trout
this morning was full of action but only a couple small keepers at the end of the trip. Afternoon the tide switched and we caught a nice cooler full of pretty trout. Bunch of small flounder with 1 nice keeper flatty. Saw some drum but no bites from them. Beautiful weather today and for the next few days. Let’s getcha in the books!
Early shmearly
I got alot of guys that only want a morning trip because they think the fishing is onlly good early. Sometimes they wont even go if I only have an afternoon open. I try to explain it to them but I guess they just think I’m trying to sell em on a trip. Well, today was a prime example. Happens pretty often actually. This morning was very tough fishing. A few small trout and flounder and that was it. Afternoon trip we fished the same areas and got on one of the best trout bites I’ve seen all year. Quality fish non stop up to 22″. We left em bitting to go do something else.
Big drum are coming!
It’s going to be game on soon! Caught a few up north in the kayak yesterday. Tons of bait is on the way down. Might be good next week. Let’s go getcha a citation. Still good inshore too.

Really need to update my reports on here more. If you have instagram make sure you follow @SaltMinded! ….. the fishing the last couple days has been pretty good. Gotta hunt around for em a little, but there’s some good bites to be found.
