Excellent showing of cobia!

Still seeing great numbers of fish , and starting to see a few nicer fish in the mix.  We should have good action for anther few weeks! Thank you to everyone who has fished with me and who has their trips booked this season. The inshore fishing is setting up great and should keep us plenty busy this summer. Give me a shout to book your summer fishing trip!

They’re here!

Caught a few cobia last week, which is definitly the earliest I’ve ever caught cobia out of Oregon inlet. There has been a great showing of fish the last couple days. We caught double digit fish this afternoon. May is completely booked up, but give me a shout for your summer vacation trip as my days are filling up fast. Thanks!

Buzzer

Pretty slow day overall…. Fished all the areas I’ve been fishing the past couple weeks and came up almost empty besides a few small stripers.  Made a long run this evening and found us the first puppy drum of the season along with the first keeper flounder.  Caught a few small trout too.

First few blues

It was literally blowing 25-30 this afternoon, but we still went for it.  We tried our hardest to get out of the wind, but the fish wanted to be in the chop.  We ended up with some throwback rockfish, trout, flounder, and caught our first few bluefish of the year. Glad the guys had a good time and were able to bring home a little meat for their efforts. The water is warming up fast. The next few weeks are going to be interesting!!!!
