Fall Fishing
This season looks like it will be extending a little longer than most. Bookings are WAY up in October and November. Typically, the business dries up before the fishing – so I don’t really have much of a report during the later part of the season. However, we should continue to catch speckled trout, reds, and stripers will into November. I have had years where I caught fishing into mid January consistently. I will be running trips most likely into Christmas time this year so give me a shout and we can get you in the books during your extended Outer Banks stay! Thanks everyone for checking!
BIG drum
August is turning into one of my favorite months to fish down here. Big reds and cobia in the ocean, excellent trout and puppy drum fishing in the sound! Flounder season opens soon and we should be able to box a few of those too. We’ve been enjoying some beautiful calm conditions and great fishing since the passing of the tropical storm. Thanks everyone for fishing with Salt minded!

Meat haul!
Had a 2 boat trip today and we crushed the trout and reds. We’ve had some excellent fishing in the sound lately. July is just about booked up but give me a shout for your August fishing charter. Thanks everyone for checking the reports and all the support!!!
