A great morning by anyones standards, but expectations are really high with our recent catches. We ended the morning with 6 keeper specks, 4 greys, and 1 flounder in the box. Threw back about 5 specks, a dozen greys, 3 flounder, and about 8 stripers. We had good action.
Sometimes you just can’t get the job done in 4 hours. That was the case yesterday we ended up with about 4 trout in the box. Today was a different story we had excellent fishing morning and afternoon trout flounder puppy drum and stripers. Good fall fishing
Still controlling the speck population
The storm passed and all is basically back to normal around here. Our neighbors on Hatteras Island definitely got the worst of it. Anyways, we had some good trout fishing this morning, and wasn’t too bad for the afternoon either! Small puppy drum, stripers, and flounder mixed in too.
