Jumbos!
Couldn’t resist going out in the ocean since the sound fishing has been so tough. We swung for the fences and managed to get each person a citation drum up to 50″ . . . Oh yea, we caught a few dink trout early too.

Been having some tough tough fishing since the big blow. Scraping out small trout and a handful of misc other fish. I think it’s time to start targeting stripers. The class of drum that we’ve enjoyed for the past 3 years seem to have disappeared….? Maybe they will show back up somewhere – hope so. Thanks for fishing with me everyone! Here’s to better fishing reports! CHEERS!
The weather has finally gotten good again. I will be fishing the rest of this week and all next week. I’ve got some afternoons open next week if you are interested in booking a trip. I am hoping for trout, reds, and striper over the next few weeks. Give me a call and lets go fishin’
Every update the comes out from www.nhc.noaa.gov looks worse and worse. Really hoping this thing decides to take a turn for the better. Maybe give us a good run of some swell! Fished a few trips with small trout to show. Lots of em – but no size. Throw in some bluefish , skates, and other misc. randomness and ya got yourself a fishing report. The drum went full Houdini on everyone today. They’re gonna bite before this blow, guess its tomorrow. Thanks for checking!
Pulled through in the 4th quarter after I hopped in the tower and miraculously found a school of these beauties in some windy / overcast conditions. Rather be lucky then good!
Morning trip wasn’t so lucky. We tried bait fishing for the drum with nothing but rays and a shark. Did catch some misc. bottom fish while we were soaking drum baits. Still a fun time with a great crew – thanks guys!
