Fruits of our labor

Here is the final product of an afternoon bouncing around in the tower in some rough conditions. NE wind 20-25 with a nice cross chop spraying us down.  We went 4 for 5 on cobia. I cooked up the one that we had to measure 16 different ways to get him in the box.  33.000001″.   Game warden checked him out at the dock. He laughed at how close he was.   Give me a shout if you are ready to hit some cobia from the tower! The next 2 – 3 weeks are prime time and I don’t have many days open.

Doubled up !

Found some more Reds today in the same location.  Even managed to find a slot fish which has been a tall order.  Most of these fish are ranging between 28-32″.  Booking up fast for the next few weeks as well as the prime summer dates.  Call me – lets lock in a date for ya!

Red drum?

What are we calling these fish now? Red drum? Yearlings?  They shouldn’t fall under the “puppy drum” category anymore.  These overslot reds are super fun – and a great fight on light tackle.  Here is 1 of 2 we picked up today in some very windy conditions.  Thanks for joining me guys, great company!

Happy Mothers Day! – Kid fishing

Happy Mothers Day to all the mommas out there.  I hope your husbands and children spoiled you all day.  I was lucky enough to enjoy a boat ride with my wife, daughters, stepdad, and my wonderful mother.  We did a little swimming and a little bottom fishing.  There is always some bottom feeders around for the kids to tug on – with plenty of action to keep them occupied.  Give me a call to book your family trip this summer!

First flounder

The water temps have finally come up and the fish are showing up nicely.   We caught a bunch of blues today, a striper, lost a drum, and managed our first keeper flounder of the season.  Beautiful day on the water with Reed and company.   Fun day, Thanks for joining me !
